Our Fall 2021 Growth Campaign

Your Help Is Urgently Needed

Would you prayerfully consider helping us achieve a crucial near-term? We need ongoing donor support to add 35 new trainees to the team in Zambia. It's a big goal, but with your help, we can make it a reality. Keep reading to learn why it is desperately needed.

Why Is This Growth Important?

Currently, in Ngombe Compound, 81 schools have girls who need the Sew Powerful Purse to attend school all month, even on their period. But we currently serve just 41 of these schools with our program. Which means thousands of girls are not receiving our support.

Each month the girls at these schools stay home when they start their period— and their chances of academic success decline with each passing month they skip school. Early marriage, pregnancy, and a life with fewer good choices is their lot in life.

Goal One - Ten Trainees In Lusaka

Ten of the new trainees we want to hire will begin working in Lusaka, at the beautiful new vocational training facility, to learn to make reusable pads. Their lives will be changed too - as they join our team and receive the promise of a career option that they never dreamed was possible.

To fully fund this effort, including machines, materials, and related program expenses, we need to raise $3,000 a month in ongoing support.

Goal Two - Ten Trainees In Livingstone

In Livingstone, our second program location, we are just starting to serve schools and grow our team, and there are dozens of schools waiting for our help. Thousands of girls, skipping school, wishing they had an opportunity to learn.

Ten of the new trainees we want to hire will begin working in Livingstone, doubling the size of our team there. To fully fund this effort, including machines, materials, and related program expenses, we need to raise $3,000 a month in ongoing support.

Goal Three - A New Program Location In Chingola

To launch in Chingola, we'll copy the same successful plan we used in Livingstone - sending two proven team leaders from Lusaka and recruiting a group of local trainees. To fully fund this effort, including machines, materials, and related program expenses, we need to raise $4,000 a month in ongoing support.

Believing For The Chance To Serve New Communities

If we can reach these first two funding support milestones and grow our teams in Lusaka and Livingstone, we can launch a third location - Chilanga Zambia.

About Chingola Zambia: One of the most poverty stricken cities in Eastern Zambia, Chingola serves as a regional hub for travel to the nearby country of Congo. Our team is passionate about starting a program location to serve this community.

Can You Support One Trainee?

Would you please Pray About How You Can Support one Trainee, that will touch the lives of thousands of girls? Here are a few ways you can participate financially.

New Monthly Donors

We want to invite you to become a monthly supporter to help us achieve these crucial goals. The simplest way is to become an Atelier Angel - signing up to donate monthly. While $29 is our most popular support level, you can choose any amount and make it a recurring gift.

One-Time Gifts

We are also happy to accept one-time gifts to help fully fund these vital efforts for the next 12 months. If you'd like to give from a family foundation or donor-advised fund, don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

Please pray with us and believe as we strive for these exciting goals. If we work together, we can begin serving over 100 women in Zambia with good-paying jobs - and reach thousands of children with critical support.

Every gift helps, so please give generously.

Thank-You Gifts

Several generous donors have made it possible to send new monthly recurring donors a beautiful collection of fat quarters and Jacquard Ribbons. So when you sign-up, be sure to enter your mailing address. We'll send at least 3 Fat Quarters and 5-Yards of beautiful ribbons as our way of saying 'thank-you' for your generous support.

Sew Powerful Purse Program

Our annual Sew Powerful Purse program enables girls to stay in school. Purses are made and sent to Zambia as gifts. The local seamstresses in Zambia make re-usable hygiene pads and together they are provided to girls as part of health (MHM) training. Get Involved
