The Rule of Thumb

In The Rule of Thumb we look at the unique and amazing body of Christ from a new – and hilarious point of view. What happens when one member of the body calls it quits?

  • Concept: A young girl experiences the death of her father from illness. After he passes, she receives a special birthday gift from him. A story illustrating that the most important thing is the love we leave behind in the lives of others.
  • Story Origin: Original
  • Setting: N/A
  • Precept(s):
    • We all have a role to play in the body of Christ.
    • The body of Christ will not function properly unless all parts are involved.
    • We must learn to appreciate all of the parts of the body.
  • Key Bible Verse: 1Corinthians 12:18 But in fact, God has arranged the parts of the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
  • Additional Verses Referenced: Psalm 139:14
