- Concept:This parable is a metaphor for faith and maturity. Meeting Christ as Savior is one of the sweetest experiences in life. As we walk with Him, we will experience challenges and trials that test and build our faith. Will we trust Him through those challenges? Or will we fail to recognize them for what they are -instances that equip us with maturity and a testimony, enabling us to bring His light to others.
