I am 78 years old and have been sewing most of my life.  I taught sewing for years, then I designed and sewed bridal wear.  I wondered how I could still make a positive and eternal difference in this world at this time of my life.  I wondered how I could use my sewing skills and not let them go to waste. 

When I heard about Sew Powerful I was in with both feet!  I was very impressed with the professional design of the purses.  The end product is something we can be proud to pass along to the girls.

I am thrilled to be part of this team and make a difference in a girl's life at the other end of the world. 

Sewing a wedding dress was always so exciting but doesn't compare to the satisfaction I felt when I sewed my 1,000 purses!
