Our first ever national sewing retreat, Sewing Seeds of Hope, will be held June 22-25, 2023 at Stitchin’ Heaven in the charming Texas town of Quitman.

The objectives of the retreat are to build friendships, expand our knowledge of Sew Powerful, spend time in the Word, learn some new sewing techniques, make some purses and other crafty items, to laugh a lot, and to have loads of fun!

Just two hours east of Dallas, the Stitchin’ Heaven Retreat Center is an easy drive from major cities and airports, located between I-20 and I-30. This facility is less than a year old and was built specifically as a sewing and quilting retreat. The accommodations, room layout, and provisions are among the nicest we’ve found. Sewing Seeds of Hope 2023 Sewing Retreat – only open to the first 24 people who enroll. The retreat will be held June 22-25, 2023 at Stitchin’ Heaven, Quitman, TX.

Your $400 payment to Sew Powerful covers:

• 3 nights accommodations in a 2-person shared room with private bath
• 7 tasty meals prepared by a highly rated local chef

Bring your own machine or rent a sewing machine for $10/day based on availability. Each person should bring their own sewing supplies and notions (scissors, ripper, ruler, pins, thread, etc.).

There will be a short list of items to bring for the activities, including a finished purse flap. You will get the complete list no later than May 1.

Payment – you may make your $400 payment in full upon completion of your registration or you can pay in two installments: $225 at registration, and $175 no later than May 1. There will be a minimum enrollment of 20 participants and a maximum of 24.
